Having graduated from Queen's University Belfast and University of East Anglia, Ruth spent the early part of her career working in Public Service in Northern Ireland, Hong Kong and England. Latterly, she has worked in Further Education and having returned to Northern Ireland, she has embraced voluntary work with Community Rescue Service, SSAFA and Eco Rangers. Passionate about nature and wildlife, she spends hours each week litter picking on long country roads in the Antrim Glens. Her hobbies include reading, sketching and gardening.
