With our strategy in place, focusing on climate, biodiversity and waste/pollution, we are now actively recruiting new members to the Board of Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful.
We are seeking outstanding individuals wishing to join our
small team of active Board Members.
The roles include supporting
the ongoing strategic development of the charity as it grows to meet not only the challenges of environmental incivilities and sustainable use of
resources, but also the growing need to deliver on climate action, nature recovery and waste and pollution solutions.
Applicants must be highly motivated and enthusiastic
and share our vision of a world where people and nature thrive, and our mission to inspire and empower people to create more resilient and healthier communities, greener and
more sustainable communities.
Applicants must have excellent
communication skills and be willing to give their time for Board
meetings and other sub-group meetings and events as appropriate.
Board members (who serve both as Directors and Trustees) are not remunerated, however, approved costs incurred in delivering the role can be recouped.
Keep
Northern Ireland Beautiful reserves the right to hold a reserve list
for a period of approximately 12 months to fill similar roles which may
arise.
The application process requires the submission of a cover letter and full CV, followed by selection for interview and, where successful at interview, final approval by the full Board.
For more information or to submit your application please email Dr Ian Humphreys CEO.
